A disaster happened. Several earthquakes destroyed three cities and affected ten. Turkey had similar disasters in its past but I wasn’t alive to see them. Thousands of apartments turned into marbles. There are about 50000 people stuck under the debris and 8500 dead as reported at the time of this writing. People can’t go in or out because of all roads were destroyed. I have seen photos and videos. I cannot sleep. I constantly think about the people and have nightmares about dying in an earthquake. I have heard that a group of programmers are developing apps for search and rescue to use. I applied to join them. I hope I can do some good.
